Jan. 24 (Bloomberg) -- HSBC Holdings Plc added three analysts to its Latin American equity research team, according to an e-mailed statement.
Sandra Boente, who had previously worked at Deutsche Bank AG, will cover utility and water companies from New York, according to the statement. Alexandre Falcao will be responsible for transport and capital goods sectors from Sao Paulo. Francisco Schumacher, who will be based New York, was named strategist for the Andean region.
The three analysts will report to Ben Laidler, the head of research for the Americas. HSBC’s Latin America equity research team includes 23 analysts, strategists and economists after these appointments, according to the statement.
