Soybeans, Wheat Extend Gains for Second Day as Crop Prices Climb

Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Soybeans increase as much as 0.8% to $14.52/bu, trade at $14.4775 * Soybeans gained 0.4% on Jan. 25 * Wheat adds 0.3% after 1% advance on Jan. 25 * Corn increases 0.4% * NOTE: U.S. exporters sold 572,545 metric tons of wheat in the week ended Jan. 17, up 6.8 percent from a week earlier and the most in five weeks, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said. Sales of soybean oil doubled from a week earlier, and soybean- meal rose 76 percent from a year earlier.
