Mitsubishi to Expand Water Membrane Business in Vietnam Accord

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Mitsubishi Rayon Co., a Tokyo-based unit of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corp., reached an agreement to expand its water-treatment membrane operations in Vietnam.

The company, whose products include water-purification and wastewater-treatment systems, chemicals, carbon fibers and acrylics, said today in a statement that it entered into a pact with the Ho Chi Minh-based engineering company Greentech Environment to market hollow-fiber membranes for water-treatment equipment installed in hospitals, hotels, factories and other facilities. No terms were disclosed.
