Romanian Utility Awards Water-Treatment Plant Works Contract

March 14 (Bloomberg) -- The Romanian utility Nova Apaserv SA awarded a construction contract valued at 30.1 million lei ($8.9 million) for water-treatment plants to the Spanish company Ocide Construccion SA and Aquaterm SRL venture.

The contract includes the construction of sewage-treatment plants in Flamanzi and Vorona in the northeastern county of Botosani and was initially valued at 35.4 million lei, according to a European Union procurement document. The utility received three bids for the contract.
