Sept. 3 (Bloomberg) -- A missile launch this morning detected by Russia’s tracking system in the Mediterranean was a test, the Israeli Defense Ministry said today.
Further details will be released in a written statement, Yaacov Havakook, head of the international media department at the Defense Ministry, said by telephone.
European stocks declined after Russian state-run news service RIA Novosti reported the detection of a missile launch. Brent crude climbed after the report.
